DESCRIPTION:The school will be closed from Wednesday\, 18 March 2020 until Tuesday\, 15 April 2020. This means that we will reopen on the 16th of April 2020. \nAs you all know the President took drastic measures for our country in trying to prohibit the spreading of the Corona Virus. DESCRIPTION:General Information:\n\nOur first outing for this year will be next Monday during school time.\nWe will visit the Hartbeespoortdam Zoo.\nWe are giving you the date through in advance for the following reasons:\n− We leave at 08h00 and will be returning at 14h00. This means that you must please arrange for earlier drop off/transport in the morning as well as later collection. ALL THE CHILDREN MUST BE AT SCHOOL AT 07H45 AND WE WILL BE BACK AT SCHOOL AT 14H00.\nYou receive your indemnity form today. Please return your indemnity form tomorrow.\nNOTE: NO CHILD CAN GO ON THE OUTING WITHOUT THE INDEMNITY FORM.\nFor the outing you need to supply a food parcel for your child:\n❖ Please put in enough food. See attached instructions. We will make sure that they drink water and visit the toilets regularly.\n❖ NO COOKED FOOD PLEASE! It is difficult to eat at the zoo. Sandwiches work best!\n\nWhat to wear:\n\nIf your child has a Kwagga T-shirt please put it on. If not we supply school “Bibs” for them so that they can be easily identified.\nShoes: Put on shoes that they are comfortable in.\nHat: If you have a hat please let your child wear it for the day!\nBe assured\, we have done this numerous times and we will take extra care of them and do everything possible to ensure your child’s safety.\nPlease take note that unfortunately we do not allow parents to accompany us. DESCRIPTION:General Information:\n\nThis will be our first function for the year and we are looking forward to meet all our parents.\nThis function will be held on our own school grounds.\nTIME: We start promptly at 18:00.\nWe are intending to have a picnic afterwards to give us time to know you better!\nWe therefore ask that you please pack a picnic/cooler bag with food and drinks for your family to eat for the evening. Mommies you have work to do!\nUnfortunately NO ALCOHOL is allowed.\n\nProgramme:\n\n18:00 Children gather with their teachers to shout the “war cries”.\n\nTeachers and children move to their starting points \nBears and Lions will run on the grass in front of the office \nFishes and Dogs will run on the bottom playground (Kwagga) \nMice and Ducks on the small grass in front of the Bunnies class. \nParents who have more than one child must choose where they want to go and support their child. \nWe are unfortunately too many children to use one track. \nWe also have a “horse race” with children on mommy or daddy’s back \n\n19:00        Parents enjoy a picnic on the grass while music is playing and get to know each other.\n\nPlease bring the following:\n\nWell-rested children dressed in shorts and bare feet.\nBlanket or chairs for the family to sit and have supper.\n\nPlease Note: If the evening is cancelled due to weather\, we will send out a letter on Thursday\, as well as add a notification on the website. So check your child’s bag on Thursday!

DESCRIPTION:We will be having a photo day on Thursday the 7th of February. \nHere are a few arrangements: \n\nIndividual as well as class photos will be taken on this day. You are under no obligation to have your child’s photo taken. There is an example on the stoep.\nAfter the photoshoot you will receive an envelope with a sample of your child’s photo on\, as well as a variety of other products to order. You may then place the correct amount of money in the envelope and send it back to school.\nYou are also welcome to have your child’s baby brother/sister photographed. They will be photographed before the rest of the schools’ children. Mommies must bring them and take them back home afterwards please.\n\n
